Woden Micro Residencies - Applications close 30 May 2023

Tuggeranong Arts Centre, as part of its Woden Arts Program and in conjunction with the Woden Community Council is offering Quick Response Micro Residences of up to $1,000.

The residencies are intended to support the creative endeavours of independent professional practising artists across all art forms, arts collectives or groups.

Designed to activate Lovett Tower (and the Woden Town Square) this is an opportunity for artists to think creatively, to showcase their artistic practice and to work with the Woden community.

A final public outcome is not required, but the space needs to be occupied and activated – by working in the space, using the internal room as a canvas, or creating something in the Woden Town Square. 

The successful artist will share the space in Lovett Tower with Woden Community Council.  It is also an opportunity to engage with the Woden community – applications that include this community engagement will be looked at favourably. Collaborations and multi-artform proposals are also encouraged. 

Residencies will take place for 2 weeks and artists will need to commit to spending at least 4 hours in the space per day for 5 days of the week.
