An Uncertain Future for the Pitch and Putt Facility

Since receiving ACTPLA's Notice of Decision (dated 30 September 2011) that would ensure the protection of the pitch and putt facility while allowing for the construction of a gymnasium on the site, the WVCC has now received ACTPLA's 'corrected' version of its Notice of Decision where in the first line of 1. a) the words 'for the following uses' have been replaced by 'for one or more of the following purposes'.

It seems this means the Canberra Southern Cross Club does not have to retain the pitch and putt facility.
The WVCC has contacted the Minister for the Environment and Sustainable Development, Simon Corbell, seeking clarification of the change.
