- AGM Special Guests
- Canberra Public Transport Futures Forum – WVCC invited to participate; John our rep.
- Invite re Government’s proposed Planning and Development Forum – to supersede existing land and development / planning forums; invites to WVCC to attend concept meeting.

- WVCC’s DV 200 (“Garden City”) Submission
- Invites re AGM (considerable correspondence prepared by David)
- Re WVCC’s fortnightly Chronicle articles
- AAT Appeal re NDH proposal for WTC
- Re advice from Minister, Bill Wood MLA re location of "new" short term car park sites in Corinna/ Furzer carpark area.

John had circulated a listing of suggested items which could be picked up on the WVCC web site. David proposed that we examine using the non-profit community net known as C.A.S.E. (Computer Assistance Support & Education) to host our web site. John agreed to follow up CASE and to report back.
- WVCC sponsoring a competition - Mike report
- Weekly meetings with Rod Baxter re Draft WTC Master Plan
- Spatial Plan Forum - National Convention Centre

- Returning Officer for WCCC
- Garran CA re web launch
- Community Facilities meetings: Work is progressing - David is representing WVCC.
- Community Council Forum: CCF recently convened a special meeting which David and Paul Hogee attended; agreed to a joint submission for $50 000 in Government funds to support a major information technology review aimed at establishing a combined CC web-site; each CC’s website would have a similar ‘look’ and there would be one point of entry to the combined site; WVCC is to coordinate submission and the project.
- Woden Community Service’s AGM: Mike attended. He reported that the WCS annual report is very revealing in emphasising its wide range of activities. Mike impressed with the commonality of interests which WCS shares with WVCC and also with the professionalism of its staff. Dolores suggested we should put our meetings with WCS on a regular basis, perhaps twice yearly.
- Community Congress: Two public meetings recently held.
- Planning and Development Forum: David attended a concept meeting convened by Planning Minister, Simon Corbell. Wide interest in proposed Forum among kindred community groups. Proposed Forum to supersede existing land and development / planning forums.
- David has been in contact with a Mr George Bray re possibilities surrounding CC's web sites.
- David attended a meeting with Vicki Dunne re Planning and Land Bill (with PACTT)
- Public Transport Futures Forum: John reported that he attended the first workshop organised by the interstate consultants undertaking this exercise. He felt that the consultants had a long way to go.
